Yup, that’s an e-mail from Larry. I’m not kidding, that’s the kind of list we have before we head-out to play a show. Most bands just have to worry about strings and guitar pics, not Linus. No, a trip to Home Depot is as important for us as a trip to Rockin’ Robin Guitars. As a friend of mine said when I showed him our list, “I dunno about you but that looks like someone either doing a home repair job or, if you had duct tape, someone preparing for a mob hit job. ”
“Oh, we have duct tape,” I assure him, “don’t you worry.”
“Dude, I didn’t see nothin’!!!”
Anyhow, tomorrow morning we’re heading up to the Rock-a-Tron 5000 festival in Fort Worth and we’re pretty excited. Steve even got some extra Fog Juice because when you are playing the home of Ornette Coleman and Dewey Redman, you gotta have fog!! So if you folks happen to be in DFW area tomorrow, drop on into the festival – it’s pretty damn cheap ($15 for 15 bands) and the line-up is pretty damn solid (you can check out the full line-up on the facebook event).
